Blacklight Power Making Major Progress In The Lab and In Public Opinion

A 2010 article on CNN’s website summarizes the long history of the debate for and against hydrinos and Dr. Randall Mills Grand Unified Theory of Classical Physics, which possibly due to the discovery of a dark matter signature emission in soft X-rays, may at last be turning in Dr. Mills favor. According to the https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTYqjnFLHd8” target=”_blank”>March 15 video released by Blacklight Power Inc the various subsystems that would make up a power generator scalable from 100KW to 10MW have all been developed and tested individually and only needed integration.
The world may be close to a public demonstration that if successful, would be the biggest scientific event since the first nuclear explosion almost seventy years ago, and possibly since Newton’s original apple fell in 1666, although apparently not on his head.

Blacklight Power is making significant progress towards their goal of generating electric power in a SunCell device using the hydrogen in water as the only consumed “fuel.” On Monday 7/21/2014 Dr Randall Mills and his team gave another in a sequence of increasingly intriguing demonstrations of their progress. The demos already show net energy gain either in the modified seam welder apparatus or in a bomb calorimeter.

Blacklight Power are pressing ahead with the design of a 10 MW device and expect to produce a 100KW prototype within a few months. Several new details of the 10MW device were presented in Monday’s demo. As seen in various Blacklight videos, one of various highly conductive solid fuels that is a mixture of fine copper, silver, or titanium powder, a sodium chlorate hydration agent, and water is brought to an ignition point on two rotating copper electrode wheels. At the point of closest approach of the two wheels the fuel bridges the gap between the two wheels and 5 volts are applied for a few microsends generating a large 10000 amp electric current in the fuel that allows hydrogen atoms to undergo a catalyzed transition to a hydrino releasing a large amount of energy mostly in the form of light. The presence of hydrinos that have 1/4 the diameter of a normal ground-state hydrogen atom has been verified using various spectroscopic techniques that show the expected frequencies for various vibrational and rotational modes. The electrical pulse only uses 5 Joules of energy. The wheels spin so as to allow 2000 ignitions per second (0.5 ms between ignitions) in the 10 MW device, but proportionately less in a 100 kW device. The amount of fuel consumed in each ignition is expected to be 0.3 x 0.5 x 3 cm approximately although the roller width can be increased to increase the power. In the 10 MW design, the light will be reflected upward by a parabolic dish reflector surrounding the electrode wheels. It will pass through a transparent protective window and will enter a stack of for concentrated solar photovoltaic devices. The CPVs are aligned vertically in multiple columns and the light passes up between the columns until it reaches one of many dichroic mirrors (thin film devices that reflect or pass through a finely tuned range of wavelengths of light) that reflect part of the light horizontally onto the CPV devices. In this way it is expected that 62 square meters of PV area can be stacked in a 1 meter cube above the SunCell device. Different CPV devices can be used with appropriate choice of filters to utilize as much of the produced light spectrum as possible. Light that is not reflected at a mirror will pass through it, and continue upwards until it reaches a mirror tuned to reflect its wavelength onto a suitable CPV device for that wavelength.
